Ms. Latia Johnson is a highly skilled BSC, who is dedicated to her craft. She worked with my twin sons, Matthew and Marc for a period of 2 years.When she came into our lives, my sons, diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders were struggling to cope with their parents divorce, and in need of an educational environment to support their needs and help them work through their unique challenges. Ms. Johnson was dependable, meeting with us every week for hours at a time. She assessed our family's needs, creating treatment plans, engaging us in needed services conducive to their growth, while teaching me tips and best practices to reinforce and support the treatment plans and services she connected us with at home. My sons thrived in their specialized school environment, and began to work through and grow through their individual challenges due to her caring and consistent support of our family. Before we knew it 2 years had passed and my sons were in a stable home and educational environment and it was time for her to discharge our case. Losing her as a constant leader and support hurt sooo badly, as we had grown to love her dearly. We all shed tears with her departure. At that time in our lives, her support was sorely needed and she showed up for my sons and myself like the Archangel Michae, defending and protecting the wellbeing and mental health of our entire family. We came to love her dearly, and are forever grateful to have experienced such a beautiful human and dedicated worker. This woman is a gift from God to those in need of direction, stability and support. Ms. Johnson, we love you!! Thank you for getting my sons and our family to a healthy state of being!!!
